Hey there how are you today its me Zion Tuma, I am in a Delaware County Community College, English Composition 100 class. I was born in west Africa in Cameroon, then I moved to United states when I was in the 3rd grade. There is a difference in American and African culture. I could see it in the movies, the market places, the socialization I have seen in the American society, sometimes leads to a culture bias. like the white privilege Caucasians have in America.
I still like America because of the opportunities I could get that would help my country later on in the future. In sport activities I like to watch tennis and gymnastics because to me, they are very active and complex activities are very competitive. Just because they are competitive does not mean I will watch the sport because I do not like football or basketball, maybe it is because it is very mainstream. I like my style and it is usually a mixture of "Ugly Betty" and "unbreakable" themed. very playful and bright colors but still cohesive in its own way. So it would be great if you could read a few of my articles, comment and show me some love because I am hoping that means I am conveying the theme. I will also give you all a link to my weekly blog post, I know very exclusive. My class is on Saturday at 9:00 am, at the Upper Darby campus of DCCC. Links will be provided below.
In my themes I wanted to show how the energy of education is an energetic environment for competition. The grapes in my about page is the fruit of my labor as a student, the horses in the contact page is like how we can use the website to communicate with each other. My final assignment page has a man surfing and he is in such an energetic position that I thought it represented the page well. I wanted the energy to inspire me to post some drafts. In my Life-Choice Memoir I picked nature and water because in my Memoir I spoke of how I became a Christian. and water in an analogy for our lord, I Am.
In my research paper I chose a picture of professionals at work, primarily the group consisted of women because of the theories I wanted to discover and argue in my research paper.
